Out of the four micros I have so far, this is my least favourite. I miss pineapple, have always craved it, but my body doesn't agree with it so well! It's the least soft of the ones I have but still mostly pretty soft. The lil' face (yellow part) is super soft, but the yellow ring around the face sticks out and is rough to me (and seems unnecessary?) I like that they made the yellow fur on the face short enough to not cover up the details like the bigger ones often do, yet high enough to not feel the rough little eyes/mouth/cheeks, unless you press harder... I wish the rest of the short fur was a little higher to not feel the lines that show the texture of the pineapple, but it does a pretty good job with that; if you're grazing/petting it you most likely won't feel it much or at all over most of that part. The top of the leaves are soft, but the shorter, spikier leafage has really scratchy bits that aren't covered up on the sides of the spikes; I wish they could have covered that with really short fur or something, but maybe that was the only way to get the structure right. The one I got is a little lopsided on the bottom, but I think that will actually work out to my advantage for what I'm going to do it - put it on a flower crown (maybe cuddling a second one.) It's the perfect size for my hand for a lil' stress ball sort of thing, but I'm not keeping it for that since it's not the softest. That being said, I am hypersensitive to textures/seams, so the average person would probably be perfectly happy with this and could be a great stress ball/pineapple for them! The tags are a bit in the way though; I hope they change it to be only a silky tag like the micro Puppycat! I touched the big pineapple squishable at Schuler Books, and it was so soft and wonderful and perfect cuddling shape so I'd definitely reccomend that one for this design!
