Beautiful! Colorful! Short-lived! Luna moths only survive for about a week as an adult (they're here for a good time, not a long time am I right?). It's not long enough!

Here's our solution: a Squishable Luna Moth will be around as long as you want him! Share bedtime cookies together! Flap madly around the porch lightbulb! Snuggle to sleep together as the cicadas party outside your bedroom window...all summer long!

he's great! a little bit bigger than i expected, but that's fine! the wings are only held down by a stitch or two, so it's easy to free them so they can flop around. he's a little lop-sided, but that just gives him more character, i think. my only complaint is that, unlike the concept art, the red side of his wings is on the wrong part! real-life luna moths have a desaturated reddish-pink colour (sort of like the colour of the thread on the eye-spot!) on the front of their wings, while this little guy has a bright red colour on the back of his wings. it's a little bit odd, really, and although i like him a lot, i'd like him more if his wings were the right way around :P i love his stubby little feet, though!

Just an FYI, the green color in the online photo is brighter than IRL! In the photo it looks like a bright lime, but irl he's like a pastel green. Either way, he is still amazing and perfect and I love him!

Utterly amazed at how simple yet refined this creature is. He has passed my tests and is officially allowed to date my child (a different review shall tell you whomst that is). The package came torn open a little, but apparently that was the Post Office's fault. Due to this, he arrived a bit squashed, but with some pressing he easily puffed up and looks just as round as the pictures show! Very very happy with this purchase and am so glad I was able to get one before they sold out. :D

I love this precious moth. The one negative I have to say is that it is a bit lopsided, and the head is a bit smaller than it looks in the pictures. Even with those flaws, I still love my moth child
