Artist's Description:
What sets itself on fire when passes away, only to be reborn from the ashes? A phoenix, of course! But THIS one is a very special kind: The dark phoenix! He's a dark as the night sky, and the flammable feathers on his wings are bright blue like the hottest flames to ever burn, but he's cool to the touch since he's a master at containing the ferocious heat inside of him! That means you can hug him all you want and not get burned yourself!
About the Designer:
I have been drawing since before I was in preschool. I also love to design and create things (including my own stuffed animals), so I thought this contest was right up my alley. A lot of my art is Japanese-influenced in some way, because Japanese culture is one of my major interests.
