Artist's Description:

The Japanese Tiger Beetle is a beautiful rainbow-colored bug sometimes found near rivers and creeks in Japan. It is sometimes referred to as "michi-oshie", meaning "show me the way", by the Japanese because it is known to fly away and then land facing you.

About the Designer:

Neon-Juma

I have been drawing since before I was in preschool. I also love to design and create things (including my own stuffed animals), so I thought this contest was right up my alley. A lot of my art is Japanese-influenced in some way, because Japanese culture is one of my major interests.
