Artist's Description:
One of the many animals associated with my home state of Minnesota is the striped Gopher...I had to try to design one. The stripes along its back posed a design problem...I picture the smaller stripes along the dark wide stripes as a cord or bit of thread of some sort...This guy would be plenty cute without that accent, but it really makes it more Gopher-y, don't ya think?
About the Designer:
I am a 1996 graduate of The Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art, Inc. I currently draw two webcomics (Remedy and Wonder Weenies). I adore the little puffballs that are Squishables and won Squishable's Fuzzy Five guest comic contest along with my die-hard Squishable-loving fiancee.
