Artist's Description:
We all know that fish live in water, but this fish can actually leap out of the water and take to the skies! I doubt that this Squishable Flying Fish can stay airborne very long on his own, but I know he'd be very happy to be put into a box so he can fly to you on a plane. Or if you need to ride on a plane yourself for whatever reason, this little fishy friend would LOVE to tag along! Whether he's gliding with his own wings or on the wings of something else, don't forget that he's a flying fish and that flying is what he does...in one way or another!
About the Designer:
I have been drawing since before I was in preschool. I also love to design and create things (including my own stuffed animals), so I thought this contest was right up my alley. A lot of my art is Japanese-influenced in some way, because Japanese culture is one of my major interests.
