Flashlight Fish are a family of bioluminescent fish that literally light up the deep sea. Pouches beneath their eyes not only glow-in-the-dark but also add to the cute appeal of these species. As a lover of unusual deep sea creatures and glow-in-the-dark items, I decided to take the whimsy of the deep to the comfort of a squishy plush in this design. Perhaps this huggable version may one day glow just like its aquatic counterparts with the aid of glowing fabric. Regardless, this design is all about bringing a touch of the unknown depths to the adorable world.
Hi, there! For as long as I can remember, I have always loved art and science. Although I am currently thriving as a Biology major at John Carroll University, I still make art a large portion of my life. From quick sketches to longer pieces, I strive to intertwine my love of art and science in my work rather than keep these two aspects separate.
