Squishable Golden Tiger
Squishable Golden Tiger
About the Designer
Maybel K. Hi, I've been drawing since I can remember. But I've only started recently drawing seriously the last 8 or so years. I mostly do digital art, but sometimes I also venture into the realm of traditional art, lol. I love animals, and plushies, so naturally I jumped at the opportunity of designing a Squishable.
Squishable Golden Tiger

Oh mischievous recessive genes, because of you I have dimples, attached earlobes, and my hair color is some kind of throwback to a traveling Viking from the Middle Ages. If only I was a Golden Tiger! Their rare recessive gene gives this Asian cat a lovely creamy gold color! And bigger stripes than normal! And - I couldn't make this up - softer fur! Golden Tigers basically have a genetic quirk that makes them extra adorable and cuddly. Yes, really! All that my recessives give me are freckles!

15 squishy inches of genetic cuddliness, polyester fiber, ages 3 and up!

This was the first squishable I ordered, and I was obsessed before he even got to my house (had four more in the mail!). I was so happy when I opened him, he was exactly that I was hoping for and more! He's the softest stuffed animal I've ever felt, and he's got SO much personality. His little face is tilted to the side which makes it seem as if he's looking quizzically at you. I love the different textures of fur used to give him detail.

When I first got my squishable(s) I was amazed at how soft and squishy it was. I really love using it as a pillow and it's so cute to hug and squeeze. I've named my tiger Kyrat (which is influenced from the game Far Cry 4) lol. I hope to purchase more squishables in the future. Big fan. :)

This was my first Squishable experience ever. I saw the Golden Tiger and instantly fell in love with the design. After I placed my order, I couldn't wait to meet my new furry friend, and was thinking up all kinds of names I could give him/her. Once he arrived and I unboxed and unbagged him, his fur was a bit ruffled, which was to be expected. I took a fine bristled brush to him to smooth him out but was unhappy with a couple things. First, the head was not as big as I had originally imagined it to be. This isn't a deal breaker, but it did surprise me. Secondly, the seams are highly visible and a lot of the fur at the seams in sewn into them making it look weird, but if you pull the fur out from the seams, it just looks even messier. Especially below the eyes and around the nose. Otherwise though, he is VERY cute. The stitch work for the eyes and face details are superb, and the fur is SUPER plush and cuddly and of good quality. I love his chubby feet and tail, though mine has a little bit of a gimpy right arm. (It's not too bad really.) I am hoping that with some more careful brushing and detail work, the problems I mentioned can be fixed. I've named him Dobro, and he is the loveliest shade of orange I have ever seen! (and orange is my favorite color!)
