I rarely ever leave reviews, but I had to write one for my tanuki. I've had him for a couple of months now, and he might just be my favorite plushie. When I first learned that Squishables had a tanuki, I pestered my local store for weeks to see if it was in stock until they finally just sent him to my house! He was worth the wait. His name is Popcorn, inspired by my love of film and my movie theater job. He's incredibly soft and fluffy, and has remained so after much snuggling and occasional tears. He's just the right size and shape for cuddles. His embroidered face and toe beans are absolutely adorable. I may be a college student who is "too old" for stuffed animals, but after being diagnosed with a serious chronic illness, Popcorn has helped me feel less alone.

I love this little cutie! I love him so much! My best friend and I got matching ones and now whenever we video chat we have our tanukis with us. This is probably one of the most softest squishable minis I have. It's very pleasing/soothing if you're someone who really enjoys very soft textures. 10/10 do recommend especially if you're an Animal Crossing lover/gamer!

My friend and I are big Animal Crossing players so when this guy came out I of course had to get him and the turnip for both of us! He is super soft and a great cuddle buddy! He has a great personality too! XD

I preordered this little guy as soon as it was an option. I received him not too long ago and oh my goodness is he a cutie! Love his cute little laying position and the little leaf on his head :) he's also incredibly soft! If you're on the fence, buy him!
