Mosaic art! It's a beautiful, decorative art form made of tiny pieces of glass or stone called tesserae! Look for it in the temple ruins of Mesopotamia, the ceiling of an ancient Roman church, and in the 81st Street subway station of NYC!The only place you can't look for it is in this Mosaic Chinchilla! Unlike its namesake's technicolored hues, this little guy is totally white! There's a bit of grey on ears and fluffy little tail, but that's about it for our metaphor. So instead, just imagine each chinchilla as an individual white piece of tesserae. When you put them together, they form one big, fluffy cloud of cute goodness. Now that's a work of art!
