We've been running Squishable for ten long, wonderful, occasionally terrifying, years. Ten years of listening to our amazing fans (that's you), hanging out with you, making stuff for you, and having a good time. And after the first half-decade we started thinking, "Hey, this is pretty great! Why aren't fans given more respect? Fandom needs to be understood and taken seriously! It's important!" So we went to a publisher and said, 'How about we do a book about that?" And they said, "Sure! Do that thing!"

We've done that thing. It took three years to write. But it was all worth it just so that we can introduce this book to you today.

Superfandom: How our Obsessions are Changing What We Buy and Who We Are

This book is inspired by you and for you, the fans who have made Squishable into the amazing, friendly, cuddly place it is today. But it's about fans of everything - from My Little Pony and Harry Potter to Surge Soda and Polaroid. Why do people become fans. Why everyone should treat fans well. And how fans and the things they love can work together to make better stuff. If you have ever been a fan of anything, ever, this one is for you.

We are hoping that together we can do the impossible: to make a book about an extremely nerdy topic popular. We need your help to support this thing that you and we have created together. We would be infinitely honored if you considered ordering a copy, or at least telling a friend about it. All joking aside, we can't do it without you.
