There are sparrows who flit from tree to tree
and make beautiful music for innocent maidens as
they collect flowers in the forest. And then there's this
guy. I wouldn't say that he's aggressive (not if I wanted to
keep my face anyway), but he's definitely more of the
"laugh at the maiden and eat the flowers" variety.
But what
can you expect from a variety of a Sparrow called a
Dickcissel? Yes, that honestly is the
scientific name for this particular North American
seed-eating avian. But just because he's a little pushy
doesn't mean he doesn't want to be your adorable, fuzzy, cuddle-buddy.
He'll just cuddle you
assertively.
