"Two" is the number most folks will say if you
walk up to them on the street and ask "Hey, how many
types of elephants are there?". Or at most they'll say
"three" if they're referring to recent DNA analysis of African Elephants.
They'd be wrong! That's 'cause
you can bet your sweet bottom that none of them is counting
the species Elephas Maximus
Sphericus. With no natural predators except the occasional
bowling-ball-cosy manufacturer, the little known "adorable
round elephant" is just like his Asian and African cousins
