    Did you know that the original budgies were not blue? Fact! The first blue budgie was born out of a mutation, first seen in 1878! Thanks, random experiment of nature! We thought we would do some experimenting ourselves, so we took the Mini Budgie, added a dash of bird magic (which is DEFINITELY a thing)...and poof! This big guy was born! Give this big budgie a cuddle - it's what he was born for!

    he is so round and squishable and i love him. he sits in my lap and i squeeze him. i am sad big man is no longer sold but little man is still available (bring back big man)

    My squishable budgie has seen me through Covid. He's looking a little rough around the edges because he's put in a lot of snuggle miles for me this year. I'm proud of him and all his hard work and I wish I could give him some nice new fur because he's earned it, but sadly he's been retired. He is my Wilson volleyball of Covid.

    I'm autistic, and one of the ways that manifest is that I often need some sort of item/toy on my person/with me so I can stim/regulate my emotions. When I purchased the budgie as part of the sale I was conceptually aware of how big it would be. But seeing him in person was shocking. He's become my new favorite comfort item, and I carry him around the house with me everywhere. The texture and firmness is absolutely perfect. I may now have an addiction to full size squishables. Not that I'm complaining! I can't wait to grow my collection.
