Artist's Description:

Ever wonder where Chinese Water Dragons come from? When a mommy and daddy love each other, the daddy gives the mommy a beautiful pearl. She takes it, puts it in a safe place inside a beautiful shell, and waits for the little baby to hatch. When it does, baby uses the shell to protect itself in the dangerous waters. As baby grows, they get new shells until they are too big for anything to fit. By then, their scales are hard, talons sharp, whiskers twirling, and they are ready to take on the watery world that is their home.
