Artist's Description:
The tanuki (or raccoon dog) is a wild animal found in Japan and a few other places, and they are said to have the ability to shapeshift. But it is not a raccoon, and some people even think it's not a dog either, but something even more unique. Whatever it is, this little rascal would love to be a part of your Squishable collection!
About the Designer:
I have been drawing since before I was in preschool. I also love to design and create things (including my own stuffed animals), so I thought this contest was right up my alley. A lot of my art is Japanese-influenced in some way, because Japanese culture is one of my major interests.
