Artist's Description:
Ta-da! Meet the infamous raccoon dog of Japan, the Tanuki! These mythical creatures are said to be jolly and mischievous, but also somewhat of a daydreamer. The Tanuki is a master of disguise, placing a magical leaf on its head and shape shifting at will. Pretty cool, huh? Well, just keep an eye on your wallet, because these cuddly little guys may just replace your money with leaves and take off running!
About the Designer:
I'm a full-time illustrator and designer who specializes in creating original artwork for children's media using a variety of styles. I graduated from the School of Visual Arts in 2010 with a BFA in Cartooning. Afterwards, I started Knightingale Studio, a small design group that does animation, illustration and graphic design. I currently live in NJ and spend my free time with my fiancé and our adorable corgi, while working on various personal projects.
