Artist's Description:
Ever since I found out that this creature existed, just a few years ago, I've been in awe of them. The best-known Kakapo would be Sirocco who even has his own Facebook page. I believe the current count is up 131. This is up from 49 Kakapos 21 years ago. I cannot help but smile at the sight of these birds. By designing this an adorable Squishable, I hope to raise awareness about these animals in need, and maybe get some donations going to the Kakapo Recovery Program.
About the Designer:
I'm a graphic designer with a love of animals. With my free time, I find homes for companion birds, and design promotional pieces free of charge to animal rescues.
