Artist's Description:
When Teddy Roosevelt visited Brazil and encountered Piranhas, he said (paraphrased), "Those fish are incredibly badass." When the most badass U.S. president says you're badass, it's pretty serious. Unfortunately, Piranhas don't get much love in the plush world, but they are so cute (and sparkly in real life!) and would make awesome Squishables.
About the Designer:
Most of my artistic expression lately has been limited to doodling on the margins of my notes (to be honest, the ability to doodle is the main reason I often take paper notes). I don't have a proper scanner or fancy graphic design software on my computer, but was so psyched about this contest that I put together my image using Paint. Though I don't have much time for it anymore, I really like to draw. My other artistic activities mainly involve making historical costumes for dolls.
