Kiwi! It's a flightless New Zealand bird that looks a bit
like a fuzzy potato but without the elegance! They've
never really gotten the hang of reproduction or self defense,
preferring to hold down the ecological niche
filled elsewhere by lemmings. Shockingly,
they are now endangered.
Now seriously, have you ever seen an evolutionary
cul-de-sac more in need of your solidarity?
