Artist's Description:
I've been calling this little guy Wendi the Wendigo (very unique I know). The Wendigo is a pretty scary monster, originating in Native American legend. The Algonquian people believed that turning into a Wendigo was the result of cannibalism, yikes! This is one of the most interesting cryptid creatures in my opinion and is gaining more popularity recently after being fairly obscure for a while. Don't worry, this one is very friendly and fluffy. He just wants a big hug!
About the Designer:
I am a returning Squish designer, now a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology with an Illustration BFA. I love art, design, animals, fashion, and of course, all things cute! Plush toys have always been a favorite of mine so the chance to design more Squishables and have them come to life for people to hug and love is one I wouldn't miss out on.
