Artist's Description:
Are you still afraid of the dark? Do you still feel the need to sleep with a nightlight on? Do you ever wonder what could possibly be lurking under your bed at night? MONSTERS, perhaps? They're all scary, right? Wrong!! This mewing monster cat might look intimidating with those spikes and sharp claws, but underneath that fierce exterior is a sweet kitty who'd rather sleep ON your bed than under it! And forget all that nonsense about all monsters being man-eaters, this one would prefer cake and candy over unsuspecting children any day!
About the Designer:
I have been drawing since before I was in preschool. I also love to design and create things (including my own stuffed animals), so I thought this contest was right up my alley. A lot of my art is Japanese-influenced in some way, because Japanese culture is one of my major interests.
