A chickpea is neither a chick nor a pea, and modernism isn't particularly modern anymore. So what? If Guinea Pigs were interested in long semantic debates, they wouldn't have that little pink sniffy nose or that big cuddly behind! When top linguists set out to explore the finer points of the English lexicon with a Guinea Pig, they turn into puddles of mush and just start making nonsense cutesy sounds! Ditch the dictionaries, put some brownies (which are actually brown) in the oven (from the proto-Germanic for "cooking pot") and hug a Guinea Pig!
