Given the current state of the world, I am very very lonely. Thankfully, Quilliam has come into my life and has changed it for the better. He is my companion in everything I do. He cooks with me, he watches TV with me, and we do basically everything together besides bathe. Thank you for introducing me to my new best friend who I will love and cherish until the world comes to an end. Which might actually be sooner than we think.

I've just started buying Squishables again when I saw this one is retiring :( the is the first, and until recently, and only one I had ever bought! I first encountered this company at Otakon (more than 10 years ago)...I was walking along when a young man held out a round creature( I don't remember which) and was like I think you'll want to hug this...so I did and it was awesome! But it was above my price range(and it was day one of a long weekend and I didn't want to spend so much on something right away) so I started to walk away. Then my eyes spotted the hedgehog and I squealed. My college BFF and I nicknamed ourselves fellow hedgepig and this was such a unique plushie with the yarn quills! The hedgehog has three different textures (four if you count the smiles)which makes him fun to play with! Of course I still had to fight my urge and I eventually walked away....and came back Saturday to play with it and then, on the last day...after I couldn't stop thinking about it for three days and finding nothing at the dealer room that could even compare... I left the Dealer Room with Happy Consuelos in my arms(Happy is the name of my fellow hedgepig...no idea where the last name came from but it fit)! Fast forward to the present...with Covid-19 forcing people into a life of social distancing and, being a hospital employee, keeping me from my loved ones...Happy Consuelos has kept me company and continued to keep me company! He still feels just as he did 10years ago! He is the best and I'm sad to see his kind retire! Everyone should get one!!

I got this hedgehog as a gift for my husband for when I was going out of town for a while and we love him! The front is super soft and the spines on the back are fun to play with. He looks happy and ready to hug everyone in sight.

I actually got him in the mystery box. He is fat and squishy. The material on his back is interesting and helps create the spike although i'm not a fan of the texture. I fall asleep on his belly all the time.
